MINNETONKA - Caden Lindsay and Tate Hardacre scored third-period goals as Minnetonka rallied to tie Edina 3-3 in overtime on Thursday at the Pagel Activity Center.
Lindsay scored his second goal of the game with 6:30 left in the third and Hardacre with 1:43 left in regulation as No. 1-2A Minnetonka (17-1-2) rallied from a 3-1 deficit.
Hardacre, a senior defenseman, scored from a sharp angle to the left of Edina goaltender Chase Bjorgaard. Minnetonka had pulled goaltender Chase Jerdee in favor of an extra skater.
Lindsay's two goals give him 11 this season, second most on the team.
Dylan Donnay scored consecutive goals for No. 4-2A Edina in the second period as the Hornets (15-5-1) surged to their two-goal lead.
Edina is the only team to beat Minnetonka this season, doing so 5-4 in overtime on Jan. 10 at Braemar Arena in Edina.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS - Peter Murray scored twice and Luca Pedri has a goal and two assists as the second line for St. Thomas Academy helped secure a 4-0 victory over Shakopee at the St. Thomas Ice Arena.
Murray, a senior forward, opened the scoring late in the first and put the No. 3-2A Cadets (15-4-2) ahead 3-0 with the lone goal of the second period. His two goals give him 15 this season, third most on the team.
Freshman Owen Ryan made 21 saves to earn the victory. The shutout was his fourth of the season, second most in the state. Ryan's .947 save percentage is the best in the state, and he lowered his goals-against average to 1.44, second best among all state goaltenders.
Logan Avery made 21 saves for No. 5-2A Shakopee (17-4-0), which had its eight-game win streak snapped.
VADNAIS HEIGHTS - Luca Frascone's goal early in the third period held up as the game winner as Stillwater beat White Bear Lake 2-1 at the TCO Sports Garden to sweep the regular season series between the Suburban East Conference teams, both of which reside in Section 4AA for the playoffs.
Frascone, a senior forward, scored his seventh goal of the season 2:33 into the third period to put No. 11-2A Stillwater ahead 2-1.
Gavin Bajda made 28 saves for the Ponies (13-6-1).
Rian Marquardt scored the lone goal for No. 17-2A White Bear Lake (8-9-3).
HUDSON, Wis. - Farmington survived a wild third period to beat Hudson 6-3 at the Hudson Sports and Civic Center, handing the No. 1-ranked team in Wisconsin just its third loss of the season.
Joe Hambrecht, Tannery Gylling and Will Harris each scored twice for No. 14-2A Farmington (16-2-1). Kian Hauser stopped 22 of 25 shots for the Tigers.
All three losses for Hudson (15-3-0) have come against Minnesota teams - Chisago Lakes and Rock Ridge also defeated the Raiders.
MAPLEWOOD - Chaz Lentz scored twice as Hill-Murray rallied from an early deficit to beat Metro East Conference rival Mahtomedi 5-3 at Aldrich Arena.
Lentz, a senior forward, scored his first goal with 1:06 left in the opening period to pull No. 6-2A Hill-Murray to within 2-1. His shorthanded goal with 4:40 left in the second put the Pioneers (15-3-2) ahead 4-2.
No. 4-1A Mahtomedi (11-9-2) led 2-0 early in the first on goals by Devin O'Donnell and Ryker Dunbar.
EDEN PRAIRIE - Jack Peterson and Owen Konrad each scored twice to help propel Eden Prairie to a 5-3 victory over Maple Grove at the Eden Prairie Community Center.
Wyatt Kuznik put No. 9-2A Maple Grove (11-6-2) ahead 2-1 with back-to-back goals to start the second period.
No. 16-2A Eden Prairie (10-9-1) scored the next four goals, including two from Konrad, as it surged to a 5-2 lead.
PRINCETON - Eric Paulson scored 1:26 into overtime to give River Lakes a 4-3 win over Becker/Big Lake at First Bank and Trust Ice Arena.
Becker/Big Lake (8-12-0) took a 2-0 lead following goals by Owen Zahler and Raymond Clark. Eli Engebretson scored the first of his three goals for River Lakes (9-11-0) on the power play with 2:17 left in the first.
After Tucker Tagte scored for the Eagles, Engebretson scored his second to make it 3-2 after two periods.
Engebretson, a junior forward, evened the score 4:47 into the third, setting the stage for overtime.
LITTLE FALLS - Jaxson Lopez scored with 3:53 remaining to give Breckenridge/Wahpeton a 3-2 win over Little Falls at Exchange Arena.
Little Falls (4-14-0) led 1-0 after the first period on a goal by Remi Chisholm.
Breckenridge/Wahpeton (8-8-1) answered with two goals in the second, one by Easton Nepal and a power-play goal by Gracin Kaste.
The Flyers evened the score on Mason Oothoudt's goal 4:45 into the third.
