CLOQUET - Isiah Hildenbrand scored consecutive goals to break open a tie game and propel Hibbing/Chisholm past Cloquet/Esko/Carlton 5-2 on Tuesday in a matchup of Section 7A rivals at the Cloquet Area Recreation Center.
No. 4-1A Hibbing/Chisholm (15-9-0) took a 2-0 lead after the first period on goals from Jackson Strukel and Tate Swanson.
No. 2-1A Cloquet/Esko/Carlton (18-7-0) tied it at 2-2 in the second on consecutive goals from Niko Gentillini.
The Bluejackets' victory evened the teams' season series. The Lumberjacks beat Hibbing/Chisholm 8-5 on Nov. 26 in Hibbing.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS - Cody Niesen stopped 24 shots for his state-leading seventh shutout of the season as St. Thomas Academy beat White Bear Lake 2-0 at the St. Thomas Ice Arena.
Cole Braunshausen scored what proved to be the winning goal 4:28 into the third period. Michael Mikan added an empty net goal with 30 seconds left.
No. 3-2A St. Thomas Academy improved to 20-4-2 with the victory.
Leo Gabriel made 37 saves for No. 14-2A White Bear Lake (14-6-3).
HERMANTOWN - Ryder Miskovich made 37 saves as Grand Rapids held on to tie Hermantown 1-1 in overtime at Hermantown Arena.
Luka Rohloff scored a first-period power-play goal for No. 17-2A Grand Rapids (15-8-2), which has won once in its last five games.
River Freeman scored on a power play in the second period for No. 3-1A Hermantown (13-8-4). Bryce Francisco made 15 saves for the Hawks.
Hermantown outshot Grand Rapids 7-1 in the overtime period.
MINNEAPOLIS - Tre Peck, Liam Hamre and Ian Johnson each had a goal and an assist as Totino-Grace cruised past Monticello 5-2 on Tuesday at the Brooklyn Park Ice Arena.
Goaltender Gavin Covrig Also starred for the Eagles (13-8-1), stopping 27 of 29 shots.
No. 6-1A Monticello fell behind 3-1 just more than a minute into the third period and never got closer than two goals the rest of the way. Ashton Still scored both goals for Monticello, both on the power play.
The loss was just the third of the season for the Moose (20-3-1).
ANDOVER - Easton Cody stopped all 26 shots he faced to lead Centennial to a 4-0 upset victory over Andover at the Andover Community Central.
Nolan Border had a goal and two assists for the Cougars (9-15-0), who have won four of their last five.
Cash Cruitt stopped 25 shots for No. 16-2A Andover (11-13-0).
BEMIDJI - Bemidji scored four unanswered goals through parts of the second and third periods as it beat Warroad, the No. 1-ranked team in Class 1A, 4-3 at the Bemidji Community Arena.
Dominic Arndt's goal put Bemidji (17-5-2) ahead 4-1 just 1:28 into the third period.
Warroad (17-6-1) got third-period goals from Ryan Shaugabay and Taylor Humeniuk.
DULUTH - Fin Kuzmuk's goal 4:33 into the third period held up as the winner as Duluth East beat Duluth Marshall 3-2 in the intracity showdown at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Easton Orhn and Wally Lundell scored in the second period to put Duluth East (3-22-0) ahead 2-1. Benson Peterson scored both goals for the Hilltoppers (13-9-2).
BREEZY POINT - Little Falls' Luke Avery scored early in the second period to tie the score at 2-2 and it stayed that way through overtime in the Flyers' matchup with Northern Lakes at Breezy Point Ice Arena.
Josiah Reier scored twice in the first period to put No. 8-1A Northern Lakes (15-7-1) ahead 2-1.
Liam Thomas opened the scoring for No. 11-1A Little Falls (14-7-4).
The overtime game was the seventh of the season for the Flyers.

COTTAGE GROVE - A shorthanded goal by East Ridge's Matthew Kremer held up to be the winner as the Raptors held on for a 7-6 win over Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena.
East Ridge (10-14-0) opened the game with three-straight goals only to see Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids score power-play goals to close the first period and open the second period to make it a 3-2 game. East Ridge responded with another three-goal outburst for a 6-2 lead after two periods.
The Panthers (10-14-0) scored twice in 97 seconds to cut the lead to 6-4 before Kremer's shorthanded midway through the third period.
Hank Hughes had three goals for East Ridge while Andrew Clark and Drew Lindquist each had two for Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids.
HALLOCK - Wyatt Gerbracht scored the game's first goal and the game's last goal as Bagley/Fosston overcame a late Kittson County Central rally to win 5-4 in overtime at the Hallock Ice Arena.
Gerbracht, a sophomore forward, and the Bearcats' Wyatt Samuelson each scored goals in the first period.
Dakota Erickson and James Palmer scored in the second period to give the Flyers (14-10-0) a 3-1 lead. Cole Johnson then pushed the lead to 4-1 with his goal 5:09 into the third.
However, Samuelson scored three times in a seven-minute stretch to force overtime. His fourth goal of the game came on the power play with 1:10 left in regulation. Also a sophomore forward, Samuelson has scored 24 goals this season.
Gerbracht then scored shorthanded with 56 seconds left in the extra session. He has a team-high 21 goals for the Flyers.
Jameson Turner made 49 saves for Kittson County Central (5-14-1).
