DULUTH - Ethan Sundvall scored with 2:02 left in overtime as Hibbing/Chisholm rallied to beat Duluth Marshall 3-2 at Mars Lakeview Arena on Monday in one of five games played statewide.
Sundvall, a junior defenseman, also scored with 3:02 left in regulation as the No. 4-1A Bluejackets (11-7-0) rallied to force the extra period.
Kyler Black and Bennett Scissons scored second-period goals for Duluth Marshall (9-6-2) as it took a 2-1 lead into the third.
Landon Wheeler made 33 saves for Duluth Marshall. Rex Walli made 33 saves for the Bluejackets.
ALEXANDRIA - Alexandria scored four unanswered goals in the third period, including Evan Klimek's winner with 3 seconds left, as the Cardinals beat River Lakes 4-3 at Runestone Community Center.
Ehren Anderson scored back-to-back goals to open the third period, and Klimek scored the final two to complete the comeback for Alexandria (7-9-0).
Blake Schultz, Parker Welz and Eli Engebretson scored second-period goals for River Lakes (10-6-2).
DULUTH - Mason Jenson scored three goals and added two assists as Rogers cruised past Duluth East 9-1 at the Essential Duluth Heritage Center.
Parker Deschene had a goal and two assists and Keaton Weiss, also a member of Rogers' top forward line, had four assists.
No. 3-2A Rogers (15-1-1) scored five of its goals in the final period.
Caden Cole scored the lone goal for Duluth East (2-16-0).
Jenson leads the state with 59 points, and Deschene is tied for second with 54. Jenson's 27 goals is tied for second most in the state.
