PLYMOUTH - Hill-Murray scored the final five goals as it rallied from an early deficit to beat Wayzata 5-2 at the Plymouth Ice Center.
Jackson Reeves and Chaz Lentz each scored twice in the final period as No. 4-2A Hill-Murray (6-0-0) stayed unbeaten. The Pioneers have not allowed more than two goals in a single game and have scored at least five in all six of their victories.
Torii Schmidt and Jackson Hendricks scored first-period goals for No. 14-2A Wayzata (6-3-1).
Hill-Murray unloaded 51 shots on Wayzata goaltender Ryan Pellinger. Pioneers goaltender Grayson Hanggi made 17 saves.
NEW PRAGUE - Chaska senior Tyler Nesheim made 55 saves in one of the signature goaltending performances of the season as the Hawks and New Prague skated to a rare 0-0 tie at New Prague Community Center.
Quintin Stapf made 22 saves for New Prague (4-2-1).
Nesheim made 14 of his saves in the overtime period as the Hawks (0-8-1) avoided a loss for the first time this season.
ROGERS - Mason Jenson had three goals and three assists, Parker Deschene had seven assists and Keaton Weis had two goals and two assists as Rogers' top line combined for 17 points in the Royals' 10-3 victory over Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids.
Deschene has 15 points in his last two games and 34 this season, the most in the state. Jenson has 33 points and leads the state in goals with 18.
No. 2-2A Rogers (8-1-0) has won its last five games by a combined score of 45-6.
Cayden Alphin, Brody Herzog and Drew Lindquist scored for Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids (3-5-0), which trailed 3-2 after the first period.
ELY - Jayden Zemke scored the lone goal and Ben Leeson made 40 saves a Ely held off Greenway for a 1-0 victory at Ely Ice Arena.
Zemke, a junior defenseman, scored with 5:27 left in the first period. Leeson, a senior, had 15 of his saves in the opening period. He's faced 30 or more shots three times this season for the Timberwolves (2-4-0).
Blayne Kelly made 15 saves for Greenway (3-5-0).
BUFFALO - Cooper Dalbec completed his hat trick 4:08 into overtime to lift Buffalo pst St. Cloud 4-3 at the Buffalo Civic Center.
Dalbec, a sophomore forward, scored a goal in each period for the Bison (3-5-0).
Nick Bierschbach and Rylan Sakariason scored third-period goals for St. Cloud (3-4-1), as it rallied from two two-goal deficits. Bierschbach's goal was his team-leading eighth of the season.
CLOQUET - Jacob Iallonardo made 29 saves and Niko Gentilini scored twice and had an assist as Cloquet/Esko/Carlton remained unbeaten with a 5-0 win over defending state Class 1A champion St. Cloud Cathedral at the Cloquet Area Recreation Center.
The shutout was the third of the season for Iallonardo and the No. 2-1A Lumberjacks (7-0-0), one of five undefeated teams in Class 1A.
St. Cloud Cathedral dropped to 3-3-2 with the loss.
EDINA - Alex White scored twice and Wyatt Spindler made 12 saves as Edina eased past Grand Rapids 5-0 in the opening round of the Edina Holiday Classic at Braemar Arena.
White, a junior forward, ignited a three-goal outburst to start the third period as No. 1-2A Edina turned a two-goal advantage into a five-goal lead with 12:35 to play.
Carter Casey made 40 saves for No. 15-2A Grand Rapids (5-2-0).
