STILLWATER - Luca Jarvis scored twice and Cal Conway made 23 saves as Stillwater cruised past Eden Prairie 3-0 Tuesday night at the St. Croix Valley Recreation Center.
Jarvis, a 6-foot sophomore, scored power-play goals in the first and third periods for the unbeaten No. 10-2A Ponies (4-0-0).
Conway, a senior who transferred from Andover in the fall, won his second game in as many starts for Stillwater.
Eden Prairie dropped to 1-1-0 with the loss.
PRIOR LAKE - Goals from Landon Huh and Cooper Siegert helped push Shakopee past Prior Lake 2-1 in a South Suburban Conference matchup at Dakotah! Ice Center.
Huh scored in the first period and Siegert in the second for the No. 5-2A Sabers (3-1-0) , who limited Prior Lake to 11 shots.
Bryce Lovett's power-play goal midway through the third period pulled the Lakers (2-1-0) to within a goal.
NEW HOPE - A.J. Ulrich's goal with 6:22 remaining proved to be the winner as Benilde-St. Margaret's outlasted Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper 3-1 at New Hope Ice Arena.
All the scoring came in the third period as Benilde-St. Margaret's goaltender Christopher Dean and Armstrong/Cooper Ryan Melsh were flawless through the first two.
Cam Kirschner and Keegan Davis also scored for the No. 9-2A Red Knights (2-0-0).
Brady Northrup scored the lone goal for the Wings (2-2-0).
LUVERNE - Landyn Lais and Blaik Bjork each had a goal and an assist to help propel Luverne past longtime rival Marshall 4-2 at Blue Mound Ice Arena.
Marshall (1-3-0) closed to within 3-2 on Jacob Allen's goal in the first minute of the second period. Luverne (3-0-0) regained its two-goal cushion on Lais' goal early in the third.
