MAPLEWOOD - Casper Lang's goal with 5.9 seconds remaining in regulation boosted Hill-Murray into a 3-3 tie with White Bear Lake on Saturday night Aldrich Arena in a matchup of longtime rivals.
Nolan Roed's two goals 2:28 apart in the third period put No. 10-2A White Bear Lake (6-2-0) ahead 3-2 and in command with time winding down.
Lang's goal came with No. 7-2A Hill-Murray (4-1-2) goaltender Andrew Lane pulled in favor of an extra skater. Lang scored on a wrist shot from between the face-off circles.
Roed scored on a shorthanded breakaway with 8:53 left in the third to tie the score at 2-2, then put the Bears ahead with his second goal.
Hill-Murray has won the last four Section 4AA titles, beating White Bear Lake in there of those championship games.
SHAKOPEE - Javon Moore's hat trick propelled Minnetonka to a 4-3 victory over Shakopee at Shakopee Ice Arena.
Moore, a senior University of Minnesota commit, scored twice in a 5-minute span in the second period as the No. 1-2A Skippers (8-0-0) turned a 2-2 tie into a 4-2 advantage.
Carson Steinhoff's power-play goal in the third period pulled the No. 11-2A Sabers (8-2-1) to within a goal.
Shakopee goaltender Aleksi Huson made 57 saves. Minnetonka's Hunter Bauer had 14 stops.
MINNEAPOLIS - Junior forward Tre Peck's one-timer 3:44 into overtime lifted Totino-Grace past St. Louis Park 3-2 at the Brooklyn Park Ice Arena.
The goal was Peck's second of the game and team-leading 12th of the season.
St. Louis Park's Henry Schultz forced the extra session, scoring with 1:26 left in regulation.
Matt Uremovich made 29 saves for Totino-Grace (5-5-0). Brett Middleton had 25 stops for St. Louis Park (2-7-0).
DULUTH - Wyatt Peterson's third-period goal proved to be the winner as Duluth East outlasted Mounds View 4-3 at the Heritage Sports Center.
The teams traded goals throughout, with Duluth East's Noah Teng and Mounds View's Chase Ballinger scoring 36 seconds apart in the first and setting the tone for the second, when the teams twice more exchanged goals.
The victory halted the Greyhounds' (3-8-0) four-game losing streak. Mounds View dropped to 3-5-0.
LAKEVILLE - Three unanswered goals in the third period lifted Eastview to a come-from-behind 5-3 triumph over South Suburban Conference rival Lakeville South at Hasse Arena.
Billy Downs and Cam Roth scored in the opening two minutes of the final period as the No. 18-2A Lightning (6-5-0) rallied from a 3-2 deficit. Sam Wooten completed the scoring for Eastview with his second goal of the game.
Jack Starfield and Brayden Olsen each had a goal and an assist for Lakeville South (5-2-0).
