Hockey Night: Holy Angels beats St. Cloud Cathedral for seventh-straight win

Feb. 13: Defenseman Jack Bartfield scores twice for the Stars; Minneapolis tops Chisago Lakes; Minnesota River outlasts Windom

Holy Angels 5, St. Cloud Cathedral 1

RICHFIELD - Senior defenseman Jack Bartfield scored twice and added an assist to lead Holy Angels to a 5-1 victory over St. Cloud Cathedral at Richfield Ice Arena in one of eight games played statewide on Monday night.

Bartfield scored his goals in the first period as the Stars (17-5-1) took a 2-0 lead. Charlie Clements and Lincoln Ayers Assad added third-period goals for Holy Angels as it pulled away for its seventh straight victory.

Cole Hwang scored the lone goal for No. 12-1A St. Cloud Cathedral (12-12-0).

Minneapolis 4, Chisago Lakes 1

LINDSTROM - Ozzie Snodgrass had a goal and an assist and Mike Shroat made 19 saves to help propel Minneapolis to a 4-1 victory over Chisago Lakes at Chisago Lakes Ice Arena.

Will Pankratz scored the lone goal of the first period and Snodgrass and Joel Hanson scored in the second as No. 16-1A Minneapolis (14-8-2) took a 3-0 lead.

Benjamin Kerkow scored the lone goal for Chisago Lakes (13-9-1) in the third period to cut Minneapolis' lead to 3-1.

Minnesota River 3, Windom 2

WINDOM - Ethan Hathaway scored twice for Minnesota River as grabbed a three-goal lead then held on in the closing seconds for a 3-2  victory over Windom at Windom Area Arena.

Hathaway's second goal came 2:48 into the third period and put Minnesota River (11-13-0) ahead 3-0.

Wriley Haugen and Brady Espenson scored in the final 1:21 for Windom (9-13-0).

Roseville 4, Anoka 2

ROSEVILLE - Brothers Landon and Luke Steffen combined for seven points as Roseville cruised past Anoka 4-2 at Roseville Ice Arena.

Landon Steffen, Collin Hites and Tommy Molloy scored as the Raiders (14-9-1) took a 3-0 lead with 7:46 left in the second period. 

Alan Volkaty scored in the second period and Trevor Lang in the third for Anoka (4-20-0).
