EDEN PRAIRIE - Junior forward Teddy Townsend scored 3:10 into overtime to lift Eden Prairie past Mahtomedi 3-2 on Wednesday at the Eden Prairie Community Center in one of four games played statewide.
No. 3-1A Mahtomedi (10-4-0) rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period on goals from Charlie Drage and Corey Bohmert. Bohmert's goal tied it at 2-2 wth 1:53 to play.
Townsend's goal was his ninth of the season for Eden Prairie (7-8-1).
Mahtomedi goalie Charlie Brandt made 34 saves; Eden Prairie's Isaiah Paulnock had 27 stops.
Mahtomedi was coming off Monday's 6-4 victory over No. 2-2A Benilde-St. Margaret's, which defeated Champlin Park 8-2 on Wednesday.

PLYMOUTH - Rhys Wallin had two goals and two assists and Will Ingemann recorded his second shutout of the season as Wayzata cruised past Lakeville North 8-0 at Plymouth Ice Center.
No. 1 Wayzata (13-1-1) raced to a 4-0 lead after the first period and led 6-0 heading into the third. Jibber Kuhl added a goal and two assists for the Trojans.
Ingemann, who made 11 saves, ranks third in the state with a .948 save percentage. Van Eigner made 38 saves for Lakeville North (7-8-0).

ST. PAUL - Senior defenseman Jack Bartfield scored three goals, all in the second period, to lead Holy Angels to an 8-0 victory over St. Paul Highland Park at Highland Arena.
Senior Charlie Cline and freshman Cole Cheesman each added two goals and an assist for Holy Angels (9-4-0), which scored four goals in both the first and second periods.
Ben Olson and Calum Axelson split time in goal for St. Paul Highland Park (8-7-1) and made a combined 32 saves.
