HASTINGS - Junior forward Griffin Krone's breakaway goal with 2:55 left in overtime lifted St. Louis Park to a 4-3 overtime victory over Hastings at Hastings Civic Arena in one of three games played statewide Wednesday night.
Hastings' Kody Niederkorn and St. Louis Park's Josh Middleton put on a stellar goaltending display, with Niederkorn making 48 saves and Middleton 21, including a sprawling breakaway stop on Blake Vandehoef just seconds before Krone's game-winning goal.
Krone, who leads St. Louis Park with 11 goals, scored with a high shot over Niederkorn's glove hand.
Max Rider scored two power-play goals for St. Louis Park (5-7-1).
Brody Larsen's goal midway through the third period pulled Hastings (7-3-1) into a 3-3 tie.

ST. PAUL - Cody Kelker and Will Pankratz scored third-period goals and Mike Shroat made 14 saves for the shutout as Minneapolis beat St. Paul Highland Park 2-0 at Highland Arena.
Kelker scored 1:05 into the final period and Pankratz scored with 9:14 remaining for Minneapolis (6-6-1).
Ben Olson stopped 30 shots for the Scots (7-5-1).

EAGAN - Senior forward Grant Kohnen's goal with 37 seconds remaining in the second period held up as the winner as East Ridge beat Eagan 4-3 at Eagan Civic Arena.
Gavin Goihl scored for Eagan (3-8-0) with 2:29 remaining to pull the Wildcats to within 4-3.
Jack Tauscher, Cole Widen and Ricky Lanahan scored goals for East Ridge (6-5-0) as the Raptors built a 3-1 lead in the second period.
Lance Murray's goal late in the second period pulled the Wildcats to within 3-2.
