ST. LOUIS PARK - St. Louis Park junior forward Griffin Krone scored his team-leading seventh goal of the season - and third of the game - with 12.4 seconds left in regulation as the Orioles forged a 5-5 overtime tie with Minneapolis on Friday night at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
The game was the only one on the statewide schedule for Friday.
Minneapolis senior forward Will Pankratz scored three goals in the second period, and Ronan Davis' goal with 1:24 left in the second gave Minneapolis (1-4-1) a 5-4 lead.
Teddy Dahlin, Krone and Max Rider scored in the first as St. Louis Park (3-3-1) took a 3-1 lead.
Josh Middleton made 26 saves for St. Louis Park. Griffin Simpson had 31 stops for Minneapolis.
