CIRCLE PINES - Peyton Blair's power-play goal on a rising shot from the left face-off dot with 1:33 left in overtime gave Centennial a 6-5 win over Roseau on Friday at Centennial Sports Arena.
Centennial (3-2-1) built a 4-2 lead after Drake Ramirez's penalty-shot goal midway in the second.
Roseau (3-4-0) started its comeback with a goal by Noah Urness. After Hayden Frank gave the Cougars a 5-3 lead, Jake Halvorson scored for Roseau and Tanner George's second goal tied it in the third.
Harper Searles recorded three assists for Centennial.

VADNAIS HEIGHTS - Max von Klinggraef's goal 63 seconds into overtime gave Gentry Academy a 3-2 win over Thief River Falls at the TCO Sports Garden.
Von Klinggraef gave Gentry Academy (4-2-0) a 1-0 lead 2:18 into the opening period.
Max Arlt scored in both the first and seconds periods to give No. 9-1A Thief River Falls (2-3-1) a 2-1 lead after two.
However, the Stars' Eli Bailey scored with 1:19 left in regulation to force overtime and set the stage for von Klinggraef's game-winning goal.
Conor Roff stopped 30 shots for the Prowlers.

NORTHFIELD - Kamden Kaiser scored twice and had an assist to lead Northfield past Osseo 4-3 at St. Olaf Ice Arena.
Eli Paloranta scored with 4:31 remaining as Osseo (2-2-0) completed the scoring.
The Orioles trails by three after the first period, when Kaiser scored both his goals to give him a team-leading 11 for the season.
Cayden Monson's third-period goal proved to be the winner for No. 7-1A Northfield (5-2-0).
Paloranta had two goals for the Orioles.

EDINA - Isaiah Paulnock stopped all 17 shots faced as Eden Prairie defeated Grand Rapids 2-0 in the second round of the Edina Holiday Classic at Braemar Arena.
Cole Saterdalen scored 1:42 into the second period to give No. 1-2A Eden Prairie (3-3-0) the lead. Dylan Vornwald added a third-period goal.
Myles Gunderson made 32 saves for No. 15-2A Grand Rapids (6-2-0), which was unable to make the drive south to Edina for Thursday's first round because of inclement weather.

FORT FRANCES, Ontario - Fort Frances scored scored three unanswered power play goals in the second and third periods as it beat International Falls 5-1 at the Ice For Kids Arena.
It was the first meeting between the neighboring programs since Feb. 4, 2020, when the Border Battle rivalry (the teams play for a traveling trophy consisting of a mounted walleye) was paused because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Noah Shikowsky scored the lone goal for International Falls, pulling the Broncos (1-4-0) to within 2-1 with 35 seconds left in the opening period.
