PLYMOUTH - Junior forward Rhys Wallin, stationed just in front of the Hill-Murray net, converted a pass from freshman Jacob Kvasnicka into a goal 2:31 into overtime as Wayzata topped the Pioneers 2-1 on Thursday at Plymouth Ice Center.
Hill-Murray's Brady Ingebritson scored with 35 seconds left to tie it at 1-1 and force the extra period. Cade De St. Hubert's first-period goal put No. 4-2A Wayzata (4-0-0) in front for most of the game.
The goal was the first of the season Wallin, who scored seven a year ago and had numerous grade-A opportunities in the Trojans' first four games.
Senior goaltender Will Ingemann was brilliant for Wayzata, stopping several breakaways and odd-man rushes for No. 9-2A Hill-Murray (1-2-0). He finished with 24 saves.
Senior Jack Erickson was also solid in goal for the Pioneers, making 35 stops.

ROSEMOUNT - Ashton Schultz scored with 1:02 left in overtime to give Minnetonka a 3-2 win over Rosemount at the Rosemount Ice Arena.
The teams traded goals in the first two periods. Caden Hegarty opened the scoring for Rosemount (2-2-0) before John Stout evened the score with 10:43 left in the first for No. 1-2A Minnetonka (5-0-0).
The Skippers took the lead on Danny Klaers' goal but Christian Garrity tied with 1:35 left in the second.
Kaiser Nelson made 22 saves for Minnetonka.

ANDOVER - Cade Chapman stopped 22 shots as Rogers defeated Andover 3-1 at the Andover Community Center.
No. 2-2A Rogers (4-0-0) used second-period goals by Mason Jenson and Carson Melquist for a 2-0 lead before Andover's Gavyn Thoreson brought the Huskies within one with 3:46 left in the second.
Nolen Geerdes scored an empty-net goal for Rogers.
Beau Altman made 30 saves for No. 3-2A Andover (3-3-0).

HUTCHINSON - Toren Miller and Easton Mallak scored back-to-back goals in a span of less than a minute in the third period as Hutchinson upended No. 6-1A Providence Academy 3-2 at Burich Arena.
The loss was the first of the season for the Lions (4-1-0), who had scored a combined 34 goals in their first four games of the season.
Hutchinson improved to 2-1-0.

VICTORIA - Holden Pajor scored back-to-back goals 3 minutes, 1 second apart in the second period to help boost Holy Family to a 4-3 Section 2AA victory over Prior Lake at Victoria Recreation Center.
Pajors' goals gave No. 20-2A Holy Family (4-1-0) at 3-2 lead heading into the third and Drew Roelofs upped it to 4-2 with a goal 3:17 into the final period.
Joe Rice's power-play goal pulled defending section champion Prior Lake (2-1-0) to within 4-3 with 1:11 remaining.

ROSEVILLE - Nolan Roed's hat trick powered White Bear Lake to an 8-3 win over previously unbeaten Roseville at the Roseville Ice Arena.
Roed, committed to play at St. Cloud State, added an assist for No. 8-2A White Bear Lake (4-1-0). Brady Borgestad and Kyle Gibson each scored two goals for the Bears. Joe Belisle added three assists while Charlie Olsen and Jack Stanius each had two assists.
Landon Steffen led Roseville (4-1-0) with two goals, his seventh and eight of the season. Luke Steffen scored the other Roseville goal, also giving him eight on the season.
White Bear Lake outshot Roseville 52-18.

EAST GRAND FORKS - Cole Bies scored two goals and Chase Mero recorded 18 saves as No. 5-1A East Grand Forks defeated Grand Forks Central 3-0 at the East Grand Forks Civic Arena.
Bies scored in both the first and second periods to give the Green Wave (4-2-0) the lead. Brock Schultz closed the scoring in the third period.
Grand Forks Central falls to 2-3-0.

LITTLE FALLS - Carter Oothoudt scored two goals and assisted on two others as Little Falls defeated Chisago Lakes 6-3 in a matchup of ranked Class 1A teams at Exchange Arena.
The teams traded goals in the first period as Jack Baker scored twice for No. 18-1A Chisago Lakes (0-1-1) while Coltin Johnson and Aaron Marod scored for No. 12-1A Little Falls (3-2-0).
After Joey Welinski gave the Flyers a 3-2 lead after two periods, Oothoudt scored a shorthanded goal in the third before assisting on Matt Filippi's power-play goal that gave the Flyers a 5-2 edge.
Following Austin Slettom's goal, Oothoudt scored an unassisted goal with 5:45 left.

OAKDALE - Two Rivers scored three goals, two shorthanded, in the third period as the Warriors recorded a 5-2 win over Tartan at Tartan Arena.
Two Rivers (4-0-1) took a 2-0 lead following a shorthanded goal by William Karen in the first period and an even-strength goal by Eddie Duran in the second.
Tartan (0-4-0) answered with an even-strength and a power-play goal by Brody Laska to tie the game midway in the second.
Casey Ball's shorthanded goal 69 seconds into the third period gave the Warriors a quick lead before Preston Gamer made the lead 4-2 with 13:31 remaining.
Ben Cobbett scored the Warriors' third shorthanded goal of the contest with 7:36 left on an assist from Gamer.

HOPKINS - Carter Krenke spun and fired a low shot from the slot for the winning goal with 2:21 left in overtime as Blake outlasted Eden Prairie 5-4 at Blake Ice Arena.
The goal was Krenke's second of the game and team-leading fourth of the season.
Blake (2-2-0) led 4-2 with 7:30 left in regulation on a goal by Oliver Duininck. Rio Treharne scored twice for Eden Prairie (0-3-0) in the final 6:30 to force overtime.

WILLMAR - Senior forward Ethan Stark scored 1:45 into overtime to complete his hat trick and lift Willmar to a 4-3 victory over Morris/Benson at the Willmar Civic Center.
Stark scored twice in the third period, including his goal with 1 minute remaining that forced the extra period.
Charlie Goff scored twice for Morris/Benson (1-4-0).
Willmar improved to 3-1-0.
