MAPLEWOOD - Roy Chebaclo and Rowan Heithoff scored 69 seconds apart in the second period as Blake cruised to a 4-2 victory over Gentry Academy (19-5-0) on Friday at Aldrich Arena.

The Bears scored three-straight goals in the second to rally from a 2-1 deficit. After Carter Krenke gave Blake a 1-0 lead after one period, Gentry Academy's Kaden Miles and Nathan Rickey scored for a 2-1 Stars lead.

However, Jake Svenddal tied the game before Chebaclo and Heithoff scored to make it 4-2.

Jonah Spaeth made 28 saves for the Bears (15-9-0).

MANKATO - Mankota East shut down Albert Lea with a 3-0 win in a Big 9 Conference matchup at All Seasons Arena.

Mankato East improved to 13-10-1 by limiting Albert Lea (17-7-0) to 12 shots on goal while recording 35.

The Cougars got goals from Rafe Bowman, Shae Gavin and Ethan Stude. Aiden Prochaska was credited with two assists.

WACONIA - Gordy Gombold scored twice as Bloomington Jefferson eased to a  5-1 win over Waconia (5-19-1) at the Waconia City Ice Arena.

Gombold and Kyler Dawson gave the Jaguars (10-15-0) a 2-0 lead after the first period before Sam Mickelson and Nick Hatton extended the lead to 4-0 after two periods.

After Gombold netted his second goal of the night, Waconia's Isiah Anderson scored his first varsity goal.
