THIEF RIVER FALLS - Tysen Loeffler and Brendan Bottem each had five points as No. 13-1A Thief River Falls held off Red Lake Falls 6-4 on Monday at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Ty Kennett and Brock Seeger scored goals 44 seconds apart early in the second period for Red Lake Falls (15-7-1) to tie the score at 2.
Thief River Falls (12-11-0) scored the next four goals, including a pair from Bottem to pull ahead 6-2.
Loeffler, a junior defenseman, had three goals to increase his season total to 16.
Red Lake Falls, believed to have never defeated Thief River Falls in a series that dates to the 1950s, closed to within two goals late in the third as Kennett and Evan Girdler scored power play goals 29 seconds apart.

CROOKSTON - Jack Doda scored three straight goals as Crookston rallied from an early two-goal deficit to beat Lake of the Woods 4-3 at the Crookston Sports Center.
Jack Wood and Kajun Krause scored in the first period to give Lake of the Woods (7-12-1) a 2-0 lead.
Doda took over for Crookston (6-16-1) scoring late in the first period and adding two more in the second to bump his team-leading goal total to 25.

VADNAIS HEIGHTS - Senior forward Barrett Hall continued his recent scoring tear by notching two goals and two assists as Gentry Academy overpowered No. 4-1A Minneapolis 5-2 at TCO Sports Garden.
Hall has totaled three or more points in each of his five games, scoring 23 points in that stretch to give him 47 for the season.
Hall assisted on two Reese Shaw goals then scored one of his own as the Stars (19-4-0) surged to a 4-0 lead late in the second period.
Ronan Davis scored twice for Minneapolis (18-6-1) as it puled to within 4-2 early in the third.
Hall's second goal with 5:05 remaining completed the scoring and all but clinched the triumph.

SAUK RAPIDS - M.J. Lunde scored 1:03 into overtime to lift Wadena-Deer Creek to a wild 7-6 win over Sauk Rapids-Rice at Sports Arena East in a game that included two lead changes and three tie scores (4-4, 5-5 and 6-6).
Easton Portner scored twice in the first period as Sauk Rapids (5-18-0) built a 4-1 lead. Wadena-Deer Creek (14-11-0) rallied to take a 5-4 lead by scoring all four goals in the second period, including Evan Lunde's second of the game.
Third-period goals by Sauk Rapids-Rice's Noah Jensen and Carter Peplinski sandwiched one by Wadena-Deer Creek's Cole Woods - his second of the night.
