HERMANTOWN - Joshua Giuliani's hat trick led No. 10-2A Maple Grove (14-5-1) to a 6-3 win over No. 1-1A Hermantown (17-2-0).

The Crimson have now won five straight.

Hermantown's previous loss was 4-2 to Cretin-Derham Hall Dec. 23.

Maple Grove, which defeated Grand Rapids 8-4 Friday, got on the scoreboard when Giuliani netted his first goal 2:49 into the contest. Hermanton's Wyatt Carlson tied the game but Grant Leneau and Giuliani netted goals for a 3-1 Crimson lead.
