CIRCLE PINES - Owen Van Tassel scored on a rising shot from the slot with 74 seconds remaining in regulation Wednesday night as Centennial ralied to notch the final three goals and get past Duluth East 3-2 at the Centennial Sports Arena.
Duluth East (3-12-1) scored two first-period goals for a quick lead before No. 12-2A Centennial (12-3-1) found its mojo with a second-period goal by Keegan Johnson. Jake Hoyko tied the game later in the period.
The teams traded scoring chances in the third before Van Tassel buried the game-winner. The goal was his team-leading 20th of the season.

COTTAGE GROVE - Jackson Rudh, who leads all freshmen in the state in scoring, provided the winning goal as Park of Cottage Grove eased past east metro rival East Ridge 3-1 at Cottage Grove Ice Arena, the home rink for both teams.
Rudh's goal that put the Wolfpack ahead 2-1 came 92 seconds into the third period. Rudh, who assisted on Sam Janski's second-period goal, entered the night with 28 points, one more than Red Lake Falls freshman Brock Seeger.
Junior Tyler Schwartz also scored in the third for the Wolfpack (10-5-1).
East Ridge (6-13-1) opened the scoring with a goal 1:44 into the first period.
