GRAND RAPIDS - Gavin Lindberg's goal 5:14 into overtime lifted No. 6-2A Moorhead to a 5-4 victory over No. 8-2A Grand Rapids on Friday at the IRA Civic Center.
Lindberg lifted the stick of a Grand Rapids to allow him to catch a pass from Harper Bentz reached him in the slot. A quick flick by Lindberg sent a low shot skidding underneath Thunderhawks goaltender Myles Gunderson.
The goal was Lindberg's third of the night and 14th of the season. It completed a comeback in which the Spuds (14-5-0) rallied from a 3-1 deficit after the first period.
Moorhead pulled in front 4-3 on a Bentz goal 6:53 into the third. Grand Rapids' Garett Drotts' power-play goal with 3:01 remaining sent the game into overtime.
The victory was Moorhead's 10th straight. Grand Rapids (13-4-0) had its eight-game winning streak snapped. Three of the Thunderhawks' four losses have come in overtime.

ROSEAU - No. 12-2A Wayzata scored the first three goals of the third period en route to a 6-4 triumph over No.4-2A Roseau at Memorial Arena.
Kasen Sauer, Max McCollins and John Mattson scored in the first 7:20 of the third period as the Trojans (10-5-1) built a 5-2 lead. Kasen's goal was his second of the game.
Tanner George and Thor Byfuglien scored as the Rams (13-3-0) pulled to within 5-4 with 28 seconds remaining. Drew Streeter's empty-net goal with 11 seconds left clinched the victory.

ALEXANDRIA - A late rally by Alexandria fell just short as Sartell-St. Stephen held on for a 6-5 victory over the No. 8-1A Cardinals at Runestone Community Center.
The Sabres led 6-2 early in the third period when Henry Ramstorf scored twice and Leonard Kompelien added another goal, all in span of 2:46, for Alexandria (8-6-1).
Billy Vogt scored twice for Sartell-St. Stephen (9-7-0).

WARROAD - Matt Hard scored four goals and linemates Daimon Gardner and Jayson Shaugabay also had four points as No. 2-1A Warroad cruised to a 9-1 victory over No. 6-2A Duluth Denfeld.
Warroad (16-1-0) built a 5-0 lead late in the second period before Cooper McClure scored the lone goal for the Hunters (12-5-0).

ST. PAUL - Charlie Kielty and Matthew Mahoney each scored twice and Xander Carter-Klevin registered his sixth shutout of the season as Rochester Lourdes beat St. Paul Highland Park 6-0 at Highland Arena.
The Eagles (11-5-0) led 2-0 after the first on goals by Kielty and Peyton Loeslie. After a scoreless second, they got four more in the third, including both of Mahoney's goals.
Carter-Kleven, a sophomore, finished with 23 saves. Graham Zuehlke had 25 saves for Highland Park (4-8-1).
