Sophomore forward Will O'Donovan scored 3:34 into overtime - his second goal of the game - and freshman goaltender Jaxon Sibell stopped 25 of 27 shots to lift Cambridge-Isanti past Chisago Lakes 3-2 on Thursday at Isanti Ice Arena.
O'Donovan also scored the lone goal of the second period, putting the No. 16-1A Bluejackets (9-2-0) ahead 2-1.
Ryan Schmidt's power-play goal just more than a minute into the third tied the score at 2-2. Schmidt leads No. 15-1A Chisago Lakes (7-3-1) with 16 goals.
Jack Bakken also scored for Chisago Lakes, which has won nine straight since opening the season with back-to-back losses to Spring Lake Park and Tartan.
Sibell, the younger brother of former Bluejackets star Jake Sibell, didn't play until the third game of the season and has been in goal for all but one game during Cambridge-Isanti's winning streak. He leads the state with a .953 save percentage.
