BLOOMINGTON - No. 4-2A Andover (8-1-1) used two second-period goals to hand No. 1-2A Cretin-Derham Hall (6-3-0) a 3-1 loss in a first-round game of The B.I.G. Tradition at the Bloomington Ice Garden.
Logan Gravink and Jacob Pierson gave the Huskies a 2-0 lead before Attila Lippai scored on the power play for Cretin-Derham Hall.
Andover's Davis Gohman scored with 10 seconds left in the contest to complete the scoring.

PRIOR LAKE - Wyatt Tweet's goal late in the third period lifted No. 13-2A Moorhead to a 2-1 victory over No. 2-2A Edina in a Hockey for Life Classic first-round game at Dakotah! Ice Center.
Edina (6-2-0) opened the scoring in the first period only to have Moorhead (6-5-0) tie it in the first on a Harper Bentz goal.

PRIOR LAKE - Clayton Derr scored late in overtime and Wes Johnson stopped 31 shots as Totino-Grace skated to a stunning 1-0 victory over No. 15-2A Chaska in a Hockey for Life Classic first-round game at the Dakotah! Ice Center.
Chaska (7-2-0) suffered just its second loss of the season despite outshooting the Eagles (4-3-0) by a 30-6 margin through regulation. Totino-Grace didn't register its first shot on goal until the second period.

ST. LOUIS PARK - Senior forward Adam Marshall's power-play blast from the right face-off circle boosted No. 9-2A Benilde-St. Margaret's to an overtime victory over Rogers in a Tradition in the Park first-round game at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
Rogers (4-5-1) tied it at 4-4 late in the third period on a penalty shot by Sam Ranallo, his second goal of the game.
Marshall and Drew Stewart each scored twice for Benilde-St. Margaret's (5-4-0).

LITTLE FALLS - Matt Filippi recorded three goals and four assists as No. 5-1A Little Falls improved to 10-0-0 with a 12-2 win over Northern Lakes in the Little Falls Holiday Classic first-round game at Exchange Arena.
Filippi scored two of his goals in the first period as the Flyers built a 4-0 lead. He leads the state with 20 goals.
No. 11-1A Northern Lakes (4-3-0) answered with a goal by Zach Ehnstrom to open the second period but the Flyers responded by scoring five of the next six goals for a 9-2 lead.
Hayden Johnson also recorded a hat trick for the Flyers. Luke Avery and Carter Oothoudt each netted two goals.

BLAINE - Caden Lacher scored two goals to lift No. 9-1A Minneapolis (8-2-0) to a 3-0 win over No. 14-1A Mankato East (7-4-0) in the Herb Brooks Holiday Classic - Gold semifinal at the Super Rink.
Lacher scored with 3:56 left in the first to give Minneapolis the lead. After Jack Hanson scored 55 seconds in the second period, Lacher's second goal came with 1:37 to play in the second.
Alex Lamont made 18 saves for the shutout.

ROCHESTER - Fargo South/Shanley scored two goals in the final 3:01 of the first period to take a 2-1 lead over Rochester Mayo (4-2-0) as the Bruins picked up a 3-1 win in the first round of the Rochester Kiwanis Hockey Festival's Gold Division at Graham Arena.
Fargo South/Shanley (6-2-0) entered the game ranked No. 4 in the North Dakota coaches' poll conducted by ndhighschoolhockey.com
After Sam Jacobson opened the scoring, John Lang scored with 3:01 left in the first period to tie the score. Camden Myers scored with 50 seconds left in the period to give Fargo South/Shanley the lead.
Jake Skorrperud added a power-play goal in the second for the final margin.
