BLAINE - Junior defenseman Drew Pitts' goal on a shot from the left point with 6:43 remaining in the third period lifted No. 9-1A Minneapolis to a 3-2 victory over No. 19-1A Southwest Christian/Richfield on Monday in a Herb Brooks Holiday Classic - Gold quarterfinal at the Super Rink.
Brothers Jack Hanson and Joel Hanson also scored for Minneapolis (7-2-0), which got 14 saves from goaltender Alex Lamont.
Defenseman Brody Hardacre's power-play goal late in the first period gave Southwest Christian/Richfield (4-3-1) a brief 2-1 lead. Andrew Erhardt also scored in the first period for the Stars.

BLAINE - Three third-period goals lifted Breck to 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Park of Cottage Grove in Herb Brooks Holiday Classic - Gold quarterfinal at the Super Rink.
Carter Theissen, Bryce Blake and Nathan Miller all scored in the third for the Mustangs (2-5-0), who trailed 1-0 after the second period and 2-1 early in the third after Noah Janski scored for the Wolfpack (3-4-0).
Breck goaltender Jack Thomson made 29 saves to earn the victory.

Holy Angels (7-1-1) scored four goals in the second period, all of them on the power play, to take a commanding 6-0 lead over the Raiders (5-2-0).

BLAINE - Boden Strafelda's goal 5:19 into the third period boosted St. Paul Academy to a 3-2 victory over Princeton in a Herb Brooks Holiday Classic - Silver quarterfinal at the Super Rink.
Strafelda scored twice and goaltender Ian Johnson made 29 saves to earn the victory for the Spartans (4-3-0).

SOUTH ST. PAUL - Eagan scored three third-period goals in a span of just more than 7 minutes as it rallied for a 4-2 victory over Farmington in the a South St. Paul Premier quarterfinal at Doug Woog Arena.
Leighton Olson, Rowen Phillips and Parker Jensen scored in the third for the Wildcats (5-4-0).
Dylan Dodson and Hayden Sanborn scored for Farmington (3-6-0), which led 2-1 after the second period.
