ROSEAU - Senior forward Max Strand scored the game-winning goal 94 seconds into overtime to lift No. 12-2A Roseau (5-1-0) to a 4-3 win over No. 11-2A Grand Rapids (5-1-0) Wednesday night at the Roseau Memorial Arena.
The overtime goal capped a hat trick for Strand and a three-goal streak for the Rams. Strand's 11 goals is tied for the second most in the state.
Grand Rapids led 3-1 after two periods as Justin Kerr and Kaden Nelson scored in the first and Garrett Drotts netted one in the second.
Strand brought the Rams within one, 3-2, with just over four minutes to play in regulation. Gavin Gunderson then scored on the power play with 2:03 remaining to force the extra period.

ST. LOUIS PARK - Harper Bentz scored 3:24 into overtime to give No. 9-2A Moorhead (3-3-0) a 4-3 win over No. 4-2A Benilde-St. Margaret's (2-3-0) at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center.
The Spuds trailed 3-2 when Thomas Schroeder tied the score 5:22 into the third. Benilde-St. Margaret's took the 3-2 lead when Adam Marshall scored on the power play just more than two minutes into the period.

VADNAIS HEIGHTS - No. 13-1A Gentry Academy (2-1-0) saw its 21-game win streak snapped as Notre Dame Academy (4-1-1) handed the Stars a 6-4 loss.
Notre Dame entered the contest ranked No. 3 in Wisconsin's largest division (Division 1) by Wisconsin Prep Hockey.
Gentry Academy went 19-0 to win the 2021 state Class 1A title and opted up to Class 2A for this season's playoffs.
Gentry's Kaden Milles gave the Stars a 1-0 lead only to see Notre Dame score four unanswered goals. Wes Berg snapped the Notre Dame scoring streak with a power-play goal.
Barrett Hall then made it 4-3, but Notre Dame scored back-to-back goals in the third to ice it.

SARTELL - Wyatt Mattfield's second-period goal was the difference as Bemidji (3-1-1-) handed Sartell-St. Stephen (2-2-0) a 1-0 loss at Bernick's Hockey Arena.
The Lumberjacks killed four penalties to preserve the shutout for Jackson Hill, who stopped 17 shots.

INTERNATIONAL FALLS - Williston, the 11th-ranked team in North Dakota, scored two first-period goals and never looked back in handing International Falls its third-straight loss of the season by defeating the Broncos 6-2 at Bronco Arena.
The Coyotes, who scored both a power-play and a shorthanded goal in both the first and third periods, improved to 3-0-0.
