Panzer, Parker lead Green Wave

The one-two punch of Landon Parker and Jaksen Panzer has led East Grand Forks in scoring this season and that combination continued to lead the way again Tuesday. Parker and Panzer combined for eight points as No. 3 seed East Grand Forks defeated Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato 8-1 Tuesday afternoon in the Class A quarterfinals at the Xcel Energy Center.

Parker scored two first-period goals as the Green Wave built a 3-0 lead. Panzer, who netted two short-handed goals, recorded two goals in the second period and another one in the third period.

Also recording two or more points were Brody Schultz (2 goals/1 assist), Brandon Anderson (2 assists), Tanner Lubinski (2 assists) and Logan Spencer (2 assists).

Caden Besemer scored a second-period goal for Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato (10-9-2).

Key Moment
Parker scored 25 seconds into the game to power the Green Wave (14-8).
