Hill-Murray's Leo Gruba

Three Stars

1. Leo Gruba, Hill-Murray - Gruba is a Mr. Hockey finalist for a reason - he does it all for the Pioneers. Gruba scored a goal, made countless poised plays in all three zones and was the best player on the ice Thursday night.

2. Jack Erickson, Hill-Murray - The junior netminder made 32 saves, making most of them look easy. The highlight of his night came when he robbed Lakeville South of the tying goal with a sprawling glove stop midway through the third period.

3. Axel Begley, Hill-Murray - The other half of the top defensive pairing for the Pioneers, Begley scored in the first period and recorded a game-high seven shots on goal.
