The speedy junior forward failed to score on a first-period breakaway but came through when the Raiders needed him most, scoring the game winner with 4:56 remaining.

2. Zach Sondreal, Cretin-Derham Hall
The senior defenseman scored a second-period power-play goal on a blast from the left face-off circle and was highly effective in limiting Hermantown's quality scoring chances with his defensive play around the net.

3. Kade Kohanski, Hermantown
Kohanski, a junior forward, scored to tie it at 2-2 early in the second period. He also assisted on Wyatt Carlson's first-period goal and was an integral cog on the Hawks top line that also includes Max Plante (two assists).
