Three Stars

1. Jake Hodd-Chlebeck, Mahtomedi
The senior forward used his blazing speed to elude a defender on his way into the Orono zone then scored on from outrageously impossible angle (almost behind the net) to pull the Zephyrs into a 2-2 tie late in the third period. He also added an empty-net goal.

2. Sam Harris, Mahtomedi
Steady and smart, calm and cool — throw all the glowing adjectives you can at the junior defenseman and all of them will stick. He scored an empty-net goal to go along with an assist and plus-3 plus/minus rating.

3. Joey Mugaas, Orono
A senior defenseman and the engine that drives the Spartans, Mugaas scored a goal added an assist and played all the most crucial minutes.
