Three Stars

1. Henry Peterson, Hermantown
The junior defenseman, a University of St. Thomas commit, left the residue of his big mitts all over this game, scoring back-to-back goals in the second period and playing a shutdown style that helped limit Alexandria to four shots over the final two periods. He also added two assists.

2. Dane Callaway, Hermantown
The senior goaltender, one of the best in the state, made 12 saves in the first period when Alexandria controlled long stretches. The shutout was the 15th of his career, tying the Hermantown record set previously by Garron Opsahl.

3. Will Esterbrooks, Hermantown
Provided his usual steady leadership on the bench and shutdown abilities on the ice. The senior defenseman is a big reason why Hermantown has allowed just five goals in its last six games and none in its last two.
